Rudy Reynon II · Coach Ru
If you’re already winning, you don’t need more tricks. You need refinement. The work sharpens timing, texture, transitions, and intention — so what you already do hits harder, reads clearer, and feels more intentional.
01 · The mission
A modern training system for movement, weapons, and performance.
K.A.M.A.S — Kinetic Arts, Movement & Style — covers open hand, weapons, sport-martial-arts tricking, and competition-ready performance. Beginners are welcome and guided through strong fundamentals. Advanced athletes get refined past autopilot.
Movement studies · rhythm · session texture
Short kinetic loops—texture and rhythm you can feel in the room and read on camera. When you add the full-resolution MP4 cuts, the motion stays razor-sharp; the GIFs stay as a graceful fallback everywhere else.

Why train with Coach Ru?
When you choose a coach, you’re not just choosing what to learn — you’re choosing who your time, energy, and growth are guided by.
I’ve spent my life training, competing, and performing at the highest levels of movement. I’m a professional sport martial arts multi-time champion, a former member of the prestigious Team Paul Mitchell on the N.A.S.K.A circuit, an Emmy Award winner for America’s Best Dance Crew with Quest Crew (Season 8). I’ve also toured internationally as a performer with Justin Bieber as a martial arts tricker, and worked across live stage, television, and performance environments where precision, discipline, and consistency matter.
That experience is what shapes how I teach.
1-on-1 trainingWorkshopsDojo partnerships
KAMASWITHRU was created to give students more than techniques or routines. My focus is on helping each student build strong fundamentals, movement quality, confidence, and creative clarity — so they don’t just move well, but understand why they move the way they do.
Every student learns differently. That’s why all training is personalized and 1-on-1. I take the time to understand each student’s goals, pace, and learning style, whether they’re new to martial arts, preparing for competition, or developing performance skills.
For parents, this means your child is training in a focused, supportive environment that values discipline, safety, communication, and long-term growth — not pressure or shortcuts.
For students, this means mentorship. You’ll receive clear feedback, honest guidance, and training that challenges you while respecting where you are in your journey.
KAMASWITHRU is intentionally small and selective so quality never gets diluted. I believe in depth, care, and intention — because real progress is built over time.
If you’re looking for training that develops not just ability, but confidence, creativity, and identity through movement, this is where that work begins.

06 · Dojo workshops
Bring Coach Ru to your dojo.
Workshops at the intersection of sport martial arts, performance, and creative movement. Trained in front of small independent schools and large franchise dojos — Solis, Primetime, Action Karate, AmeriKick, and more.
Why host a workshop?
Coach Ru’s workshops are built to raise the level of your students and add real value to your program, blending sport martial arts, performance training, and creative movement into a format most schools don’t have in-house.
This is not a standard seminar focused on memorizing combinations. These workshops train execution, timing, rhythm, and performance under pressure — skills that translate directly to stronger competition results and more confident performers.
What separates Coach Ru’s workshops is the performance-based approach behind them. Drawing from world-level martial arts experience, Emmy Award–winning dance training, and professional stage environments, Coach Ru teaches timing, presence, and spatial awareness — often the missing layer between good athletes and standout competitors.
Coach Ru has led workshops for small independent schools and large franchise-style dojos alike, adapting seamlessly to different cultures, class sizes, and competitive goals. Past workshops and collaborations include schools such as Solis Martial Arts, Primetime Martial Arts, Action Karate, AmeriKick, and more.
Each workshop is customized to your dojo’s needs. Every school has different strengths, styles, and objectives, and Coach Ru adjusts the focus accordingly — whether your program needs stronger fundamentals, improved movement quality, competition preparation, team synchronization, performance refinement, or creative development. No two workshops are taught the same.
Coach Ru is experienced in managing large groups efficiently, ensuring students remain engaged while still receiving meaningful direction. Workshops emphasize team awareness and synchronization, while allowing individual athletes to refine their own style within a collective environment.
For advanced athletes, workshops push beyond comfort zones — emphasizing detail, creativity, musicality, and expressive decision-making, opening a higher level of thinking around sport martial arts forms and performance.
For parents, hosting a Coach Ru workshop reflects positively on your school: a disciplined, focused, and supportive environment that prioritizes confidence, growth, and long-term development — not shortcuts or pressure.
Coach Ru’s workshops are designed to deliver immediate value while strengthening your dojo’s overall training culture, giving students tools they can continue applying long after the workshop ends.

Trusted by dojo owners and head instructors.
Testimonials from dojo owners and lead instructors who hosted workshops, attended training, or sent their staff and students through the system.
The workshop raised the level of every student in the room — fundamentals, performance, and individual style all moved forward at once.
Coach Ru taught my staff and my advanced competitors with the same depth — performance mindset, weapon control, and the details most coaches skip.
Working with Ru gave our students a clear path past plateaus — timing, presence, and confidence on the floor where it matters.
The workshop format adapts to whatever the room needs. Beginners walked out with foundations; advanced athletes walked out with new texture in their forms.
